Hi Susan, Do you have an account of her after Jim’s death? I mean, what did she do once she was back in US, did her drug addiction continue, etc.,? Thanks,

Sadly, from all that I have read, her drug addiction did continue, and ultimately took her down three years after Jim. Here’s a link you might find interesting http://pamelacourson.tumblr.com/.

hey susan,
how are you doing these days? i’ve been to fairhaven a number of times (used to live about 2 miles from the cemetery & 4 miles from Disneyland (aka “dismal-land”). i went there in 2004 on the 30th anniversary of her death, and was surprised that no one else was there. 😦
but there were flowers and some photos on the plot wall. I placed a rose at her plot.
also, I was there about 10-15 years ago to visit, and believe it or not, the wall was open. 😮
in the “room” where her plot was located, the staff of the memorial park had set up chairs and what-not for a funeral, and they had taken the wall down to expose the plots.
so i actually Saw the cardboard box that held her ashes. It was covered with cob-webs and dust, and on top of the box were some photos of jim and pam. i didn’t touch a thing, but was genuinely amazed that the box was so small.
sincerely,
matt
